Our next show is the Bellevue Art Museum show in Bellevue, Washington on July 29 - 31, 2016. I'll be in a double booth, 0-6, in the parking garage. We're looking forward to the event. By "we," I mean my wife, Dana, and myself.

I've had a series of commissions, which I've been working through slowly: 2 head boards made from recycled wood from the family stable, a cherry stool for a couple, bar stool height for a kitchen counter, a cherry stool as a computer chair for myself after building another one in african mahogany for a client, a TV stand/nine drawer walnut dresser and a coffee table for another client and a fixture for a beauty shop, plus a few more items, most of which I will post soon.

Walking Table #3 sold. Prowling Table sold. It had been on display for six months at the Northwest Woodworkers Association Gallery in Seattle, WA. It was an honor to ne in the company of such fine craftsmen. The walnut slope/writing box sold. I may be be selected to be part of an exhibit at the LAX airport. As the cliche goes: the jury is still out. Keep our fingers crossed...

The huge media center, which I had been working on is done and is still for sale. It is 22" deep, 97 1/2" high and 110 1/2" across. It is made of solid poplar, painted, with drawers and doors faced in quilted maple (Big Leaf Western Curly maple) with a natural finish. It weighs close to 700 lbs. It will accommodate a 46" flat screen TV plus two large spaces for electronics and slots for ventilation. Also, the doors to these openings have hardware which enable them to slide up out of the way for remote control access. The drawers and the doors have latches which open when pushed in.

The asking price $8000, down from $14,500 when the paint was fresh. It needs refurbishing and modifying to suit a client's requirements. Delivery and installation are extra. I can deliver it myself on a trailer anywhere in the lower 48 and install it with one to four strong men depending on whether it has to be lifted into place.
